Beds

Buying a new bed can make a vast improvement to your quality of life, and the right bed could put an end to restless nights.

There are many different options to take into consideration when buying a new bed including height, profiling options, style, size, colour, function and controls.

For mattress options please refer to our pressure care section.

Things to consider
Profiling beds are available with many different options. It is important to take these options into consideration in order to decide which bed is right for you:

  • Bed Height
  • Profiling options
  • Style, colour and size
  • Functions.

Bed height
The height of a bed can be important to both the user of the bed and the carer. Being able to adjust the height can make it easier to get into and out of bed and also reduces the risk of a back injury for the carer.

Style, colour and size
Some beds can look quite clinical, while others look just like a divan, and are available in single and double. Colour options all depend on the style of bed you choose so don’t worry that your new bed won’t fit your décor.

Profiling options
A profiling bed simply refers to a bed being multi positional, allowing you to sit up and be supported also allowing an upward incline of your legs. There are many different degrees of incline that can be achieved from the beds we sell.

Functions
When choosing a bed remember the functions are an important thing to consider because comfort will help with a good night’s sleep.
