Rail Handing
Removal Assessment & Operations
1. Stairlift in working condition?
2. Handsets / Remotes Present & Working?
3. Charger present?
4. All Rail fittings removed & stored with unit? *
5. Label Attached to Unit and Rail?
6. If rail is spliced, has it been rebuilt, including the charge strip?
7. Power Swivel Working (if applicable)
8. Power Footplate Working (if applicable)
9. Power Hinge Working (if applicable)
10. Slide-track Working (if applicable)
11. Is the rail free of handling damage, deep scratches, or cosmetic marks, and fit for reuse?

* Rail fittings (ramps, brackets etc.) MUST be stored with Stairlift unit in a suitable container.

Note: 45 degree cut rails need to be measured along the bottom, i.e. Shortest distance and labelled.
