Straight stairlifts are for use when there is a single flight of straight stairs i.e. straight stairlifts cannot turn around corners, they are able to move in a straight line only. There are a number of options and features available depending on the model and manufacturer. Some features will suit you or your stairs and some will no. A survey by our assessment team will offer you advice to guide you.
We are able to supply Meditek, Stannah, Handicare, Thyssen and many more types of straight stairlifts

Curved stairlifts have a curved rail to suit stairs with bends, rails are made to measure especially for your set of stairs. For both horizontal and lateral bends and the ability to follow contours make this type of stairlift more expensive than a straight machine but can increase the safety of the user by clearing the stairs for getting on and off.
