Curved Stairlifts
Curved stairlifts have a curved rail to suit stairs with bends, rails are made to measure especially for your set of stairs. From experience these lifts are the option of choice in Cardiff, due to the build of properties in this region. Our assesors can discuss the options at the time of visit. For both horizontal and lateral bends and the ability to follow contours make this type of stairlift more expensive than a straight machine but can increase the safety of the user by clearing the stairs for getting on and off.

Straight Stairlifts
Straight stairlifts are for use when there is a single flight of straight stairs i.e. straight stairlifts cannot turn around corners, they are able to move in a straight line only. There are a number of options and features available depending on the model and manufacturer. Some features will suit you or your stairs and some will not. Are my stairs suitable for a stairlift?

We can usually install lifts on either side of a staircase depending on the best fit and of course your needs. No building work is required as most lifts are mounted to the stair tread themselves meaning we can have a solution installed and working for you in as little as 5 days for straight lifts and 3 weeks for curved lifts. Luckily due to our vast product range in the unlikely event a stairlift is not an option for you we have a great range of Home lifts from market-leading suppliers such as Stiltz, Terry and Wessex.

As a Handicare Diamond partner and Diamond Dealer of the Year TPG have a great relationship with Handicare who have been providing lifting solutions since 1886.
