TPG DisableAids are proud to have agreed to support Hereford Shopmobility by sponsoring the service and labour costs to maintain their fleet of mobility scooters and powerchairs.
Hereford Shopmobility is based in The Atrium, Maylord Orchards shopping centre. Shopmobility: provides essential services for people with mobility difficulties so they can gain access to Hereford town centre. Shopmobility is for anyone, young or old, whether their disability is permanent or temporary. It is available for those with injuries, long or short-term disabilities and anyone who needs help with mobility. You do not need to be registered as disabled to use this service, however there is a small charge for the use of their equipment.

  Wheelchairs (Padded cushions available on request – Limited Availability)
  Powerchairs (All power chairs come with an attached bag on the back)
  Mobility Scooters (All scooters come with an attached basket to the front and attached bag on the back)
  Rain Capes available of request – FREE OF CHARGE (Rain Capes Only)

The service can be used for a variety of purposes, including visiting the bank, going for lunch or shopping in Hereford.
The Shopmobility office is situated right in the centre of Hereford in the centre car park below Maylord shopping centre. The car park (HR1 2DT) has ample parking and Disabled parking (please don’t forget your blue badge) is also available nearby.

• The service is available 6 days a week at the following times: Monday to Friday: 9am – 3pm Saturday: 9am – 4pm

  Sunday: Closed

You will need to take personal ID on your first visit to allow the helpful staff to setup your membership. Once you have joined their service, equipment can be issued using your membership details. Blue Badge holders are entitled up to 3 Hours FREE Parking in the Maylord Orchards Car Park provided by Herefordshire Council.

Upon your departure from the Car Park please return to the shopmobility office and bring along your parking ticket and blue badge and the council staff member will be happy to validate this for you, you MUST bring in your Blue Badge otherwise they cannot validate your ticket.
